Université de Mahajanga

The University of Mahajanga (UMG) is a higher education and research public institution under the supervision of the Malagasy Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MESupReS). It was created under Ordinance N° 92-030 of July 17, 1992.

The University of Mahajanga comprises several establishments, including two (02) Faculties, six (06) Schools, four (04) Institutes and two (02) Training Units, and three (03) PhD Schools. It offers a wide range of multi-disciplinary academic and professional training courses in different fields such as human medicine, dentistry, human and social sciences, science and technology, and so on.
